"Knotical" Sandals

I'm all tied up with excitement over these rope sandals! They are called Gurkees®, they are made from carpet fiber that is spun and heat welded together. Their site also says that are salt water and chlorine resistant and they machine washable. They come in five different styles most of which share names with Caribbean Islands. Aren't they fun? I've been in a very Spring/Summer mood and these shoes are definitely making me eager to dig out my shorts and tank tops!

The Luck of the Pot

Every now and again, especially around holidays, my office throws a Potluck. We've started to Spring clean and that seems as good a reason as any to hold a potluck lunch. So today was Appetizer Potluck Day. I would've made my favorite deviled eggs but I didn't contribute this time around. Everyone else's dishes however were delicious! There were tons of dips and wraps, I favored the buffalo chicken. There were these very interesting rolls consisting of a sliced pickle cylinder with cream cheese smeared around it's edges and wrapped in thin slices of ham. At first I thought they were sushi and while they might not seem appetizing, they were quite delicious. We may have another potluck next week because of the Easter holiday I'll keep you posted.

Hello there readers, I'm Kim, nice to meet you!

Well, It's official I've made a blog. I've been a blog reader for a very long time and I've finally decided to hop on the other side of the fence and blog as well. I'm a Graphic Design Temp in the lovely little city of Scranton Pennsylvania, "home" of The Office. I love art, fashion, music, books, and everything in between.
